Valentine's Day at SGS Packaging Europe

Image
To celebrate Valentine's Day, a few of our offices organised a range of activity. In Hull, the apprentices made bags of Love Hearts, foam hearts and marshmallows, which they then sold for £1.50 each to their colleagues. These items will be used by HHCP as part of its Move On project, which helps individuals and families who have been victims of homelessness to transition into independent living. The HHCP team starts w...

Sylvain Rey is a trainer based at Diadeis,  whose role is to guide newcomers and help them to discover the joys of being a professional packaging operator. Sylvain has been with the company for ten years and has enjoyed seeing it grow and develop around him, with teams working on high-profile projects for  Casino, Nestlé, Danone, L'Oréal and many other global brands. When people join Diadeis, they undertake an eight-week training programme before moving into the production department. This is specially designed to introduce them to the company, improve their skills, remove any worries, and give them all of ...
