Three Offices Completed the IRCA Internal Auditor ISO 9001 Course
At SGS Packaging Europe, we
dedicate time to ensuring that our employees have up-to-date knowledge and relevant skills for the delivery of first-rate products and premium customer service. A recent
example saw eight members of staff from multiple offices taking part in a valuable course, IRCA Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2015.
The people who completed this were Nikki O’Donnell, Christina Stone, Jack Holburn and Michelle Hall
from our head office at Bridgehead, David Brazier and Lisa Whelan from The Maltings,
and Cecile Torchala and Brendan Masterson from Tamworth. Trainer David Seear
from global certification body NQA did a fantastic job of making the two-day course run smoothly, helping
our employees to fully understand everything involved in ISO 9001, which is the
International Standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS).
This is the most widely used
QMS standard in the world, with over 1.1 million certificates issued to organisations
across 178 countries. Expertly designed to provide a clear framework and a guiding set of
principles, everyone who takes the course gains practical insight into how to effectively
manage a business to ensure the satisfaction of clients and other stakeholders.
More specifically, it takes the form of a versatile toolkit that employees can make use of on a daily basis,
with topics including:
-- How to deliver a high-quality
and dependable product or service
-- Methods of reducing unnecessary
costs through operational efficiency
-- The philosophy behind
improving the perception of your brand
-- Working knowledge of
statutory and regulatory requirements and how they affect your organisation and
its customers
-- Enhanced risk management practices
that lead to greater consistency, traceability and responsiveness
Everyone who takes part also benefits from the opportunity to further develop their problem-solving abilities, encouraging innovation and ownership whilst focusing on the welfare of the organisation as a whole.

delivered by specialists who are passionate about their work, guaranteeing a smooth experience and complete peace of mind with every project.
